You have known for a long time that your business or club needs a proper website, but something always gets in the way? Too expensive, too complicated, too much tech. With Tagfalter you can try it without any risk: with our code JZWEB you test it for 30 days free instead of 7. That is enough time to actually finish your site and find out whether it suits you.

Please note: Tagfalter's website, service and support are in German only.
What is Tagfalter?
Tagfalter is a ready-made, professional website on subscription for small businesses, freelancers and clubs. You pick a design and fill in your content, and someone else takes care of updates, backups and security. The sites run in Rothirsch Tech's own data centre in Jenbach, Tyrol, not with a big US cloud provider. Tagfalter is developed and operated by René Zingerle, a certified security expert (CISSP, SSCP).
By the way, we don't just know Tagfalter from reading about it: Julia's personal web shop juliagiulina.com runs on it.
Why test it now?
The regular trial lasts 7 days. That is enough to look around, but rarely enough to really finish a site: collecting photos, writing texts, showing it to someone, changing things again. With JZWEB you get 30 days. You can build your website at your own pace, show it to customers or fellow club members, and only then decide.
Your 30-day plan
Day 1: secure the code and pick a design
Through our link, your browser remembers the code JZWEB for 30 days and adds it in the cart. Just double-check it there; otherwise enter it yourself in the "Vertriebspartner-Code" (sales partner code) field. Then choose one of more than 10 designs, in your brand colour and suitable for light and dark mode. A few minutes after ordering, your site is ready.
Week 1: add your content
You fill in the home page, about page and contact page with map through guided forms with a preview. According to Tagfalter, most people need about half an hour for this and no technical knowledge. If you like, write your first blog post with pictures right away.
Weeks 2 and 3: show it and improve it
Send the link to a few people whose opinion matters to you. Does the colour work? Can they find your offer? Is the site easy to read on a phone? Now is the best time to sharpen texts and photos.
Week 4: decide
If it fits, your subscription simply continues and your website stays online. If it doesn't, cancel by email during the trial at no cost for the subscription.
What to try during the trial
- Designs and colours: how does your site look in your brand colour, light and dark?
- Editing: how quickly can you change a text or photo, even weeks later?
- Blog: publish news, events or projects with pictures.
- Privacy: the cookie banner asks for consent by category and loads nothing before consent. Pages for imprint and privacy policy are set up; you provide the texts.
- Domain: you can connect your own domain for free. Note: according to the terms, a newly registered domain is charged immediately and is not part of the trial. For testing, it is fine to order the domain later.
What it costs afterwards
The website costs €16.99 per month including VAT, cancellable monthly with 14 days' notice to the end of the month, or €173.30 per year paid in advance (15% cheaper). Updates, backups every 12 hours with an additional copy in Switzerland, HTTPS and, according to the SLA, critical security patches within 24 hours are included. A newly registered domain is billed yearly on top.
If you want to sell online, add the Shop module for €19.99 per month (card, Klarna and SEPA payments through your own Stripe account, plus Stripe fees). And if you'd rather not do anything yourself: with the setup service for a one-off €149, Tagfalter builds the site from your photos and texts. The extended trial only applies if you create your site yourself, though.
Prices according to Tagfalter, as of 22 October 2026. Tagfalter's terms and SLA at tagfalter.rothirsch.tech are binding.
To be honest
Tagfalter is not right for everyone. If you need a fully custom design, your own plugins or access to the WordPress back end, you are better off elsewhere. Guaranteed high availability is not offered yet either: according to the SLA, the data centre is still being expanded, and the current commitment is 97% availability per month (98.5% with the Business module). For a club website, a trade business or a small shop this is usually not a problem in practice, but you should know. That is exactly what the 30 days are for: find out for yourself.
