Workshops for SMEs · AI & EU AI Act

AI Workshop: Find use cases. Understand the AI Act.

In one focused workshop we work out with your team where AI really saves time in your business – and which obligations the EU AI Act brings with it. Practical, clear and free of legal jargon.

Why now?

Use AI – the right way.

Many teams already use ChatGPT & co., often without clear rules. At the same time, the first obligations of the EU AI Act already apply. This workshop brings both together: spotting opportunities and getting started on a compliant footing.

AI literacy is mandatory

Since 2 February 2025, companies deploying AI systems must take measures to build the AI literacy of their staff (Art. 4 AI Act). This workshop is exactly such a measure – including a certificate of attendance as evidence.

Transparency since August 2026

Since 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations apply (Art. 50): chatbots must disclose that they are AI, deepfakes and certain AI-generated content must be labelled.

Potential, not guesswork

Instead of trying tools at random, we assess your processes systematically by benefit, effort and risk – and you leave with concrete, prioritised use cases.

Contents

Two focus areas, one workshop

1. Identify AI use cases

  • AI basics: what generative AI can do – and where its limits are
  • Process check: recurring tasks in admin, sales, customer service & marketing
  • Idea lab with real-world SME examples
  • Assessment by benefit, effort, data situation and risk
  • Prioritised top use cases with concrete next steps

2. Understand EU AI Act obligations

  • Clarify roles: are you a provider or a deployer of AI systems?
  • Risk classes: prohibited, high-risk, transparency, minimal risk
  • Putting AI literacy (Art. 4) and transparency (Art. 50) into practice
  • Key deadlines – including the 2026 “Digital Omnibus” changes
  • Links to GDPR and data security, internal AI usage policy

Who is it for?

For SMEs that want to use AI wisely and safely

  • Management: Clarity on opportunities, obligations and priorities.
  • Teams & departments: Concrete ideas for their own daily work.
  • No prior knowledge needed: We start with the basics and keep it practical.
  • Tailored to you: Examples and exercises matched to your industry.
How many people can take part?

The price is a flat rate per workshop. So that everyone can actively contribute, we recommend up to 12 participants – larger groups on request.

Where does the workshop take place?

On-site at your company or online. All we need is a room with a projector or screen – or a video call.

Is this legal advice?

No. The workshop provides practical knowledge about the EU AI Act and helps you assess your situation. For binding legal advice on individual cases we recommend consulting a lawyer.

And after the workshop?

If you like, we implement your prioritised use cases right away – from AI automations and chatbots to connecting AI with your existing systems such as e-mail, CRM, ERP or your website.
