A website builder here, a form tool there, quotes in a spreadsheet, invoices somewhere else, and someone in the middle copying data from one window to the next. Sound familiar? We had the same setup, so we moved our whole business into one system: Odoo. The page you are reading is part of it. Here is what that looks like in practice, and why we think Odoo deserves ten minutes of your time.

We also build Odoo solutions for clients, so we have a business interest in Odoo. Our recommendation is based on running our own company on it every day.
One database, many apps
Odoo is a suite of business apps that share one database: Website, CRM, Sales, Invoicing, Project, Email Marketing, Social Marketing and many more. You start with what you need and add apps as you grow. The real benefit is not any single app. It is that a customer, a request, a quote and an invoice are the same record everywhere, so data is entered once instead of copied between tools.
Our website is the demo
jzwebservices.com is not a website that "talks to" a business system. It is the business system. Four examples, three of which you can try yourself:
1. Contact form → task, in seconds
Send us a message through our contact form and Odoo creates a task in our "website requests" project and sends you a confirmation email right away. Emails to our contact address land in the same project. No forwarding, no request buried in an inbox.
2. Form → quote → signed order
Our NFC review cards show the sales side. You enter your company details and quantity. Odoo creates a task plus a draft quote with the matching volume discount and links the two. We check the quote and send it. You open it in the customer portal, sign online, and it becomes a confirmed order. No copy-paste in between. Our AI workshops work the same way: the format you choose in the form becomes the right product on the draft quote.
3. Publish once, post to five channels
This blog runs on Odoo too. When we publish an article, an automation creates social posts with a title image for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram via Odoo Social Marketing, and for Bluesky and Telegram via a small module of our own.
4. Quotes, invoices and hours in one place
Quotes and invoices use our own document layout and come from the same system as the website requests. Our working hours are logged right next to the project tasks, so invoicing does not start with a hunt for notes.
What you get out of it
- Less admin: data entered once is available from the first request to the invoice.
- Faster replies: customers get an instant confirmation, and quotes are drafted automatically, ready to check and send.
- A website that sells: forms, shop and blog feed straight into sales instead of ending in an inbox.
- Room to grow: add apps such as CRM, Inventory, Accounting or Helpdesk when you need them.
- Open and extendable: Odoo is built on an open-source core (Odoo Community). Many apps, including Social Marketing, Helpdesk and full Accounting, are part of the paid Enterprise edition, and custom modules like ours can extend it where the standard ends.
What does it cost?
You can start for free. Odoo's One App Free plan gives you one app (plus the apps it depends on) with unlimited users, hosted by Odoo. To use several apps, you move to a paid plan, priced per user and month and including all apps. Custom modules and Odoo Studio require the higher "Custom" plan. Be aware that a setup like ours, with several apps and our own modules, is not covered by the free plan. Prices and introductory discounts change, so check the current Odoo pricing page for your country.
An honest word before you start
Odoo is powerful, and that means there is a lot to learn. You get the best results by starting with one or two clear processes, for example "website request to quote", and building from there. Not every special requirement is covered out of the box. Sometimes a bit of configuration or a custom module is the right answer, and sometimes a simpler workflow is.
Try it yourself
The fastest way to understand Odoo is to click through it. Start a free trial, pick the apps that match your daily work and see how they connect.
